These sterling silver earrings are made with ancient glass pieces that are more than 2150 years old, which date their origins back to 350-150 B.C. They were found in the area of the Bactrian Kingdom (once part of the Roman Empire) which is located in North Central Asia. These glass pieces were once beads, bottles, jars, cups, vases, perfume containers, & decorative tiles. Over the passage of time, while being buried, this glass broke into pieces & began to collect deposits from the minerals of the earth which formed layers of unique colors known as patina. This glass is "allergic" to water, so please don't get it wet.
